Stay in learning mode


So much of what we learnt in colleges and universities 15 years ago has changed. Just looking back and reflecting on the vast changes that have occurred globally could be a bit mind boggling. To grasp onto the knowledge of yesterday without pursuing new knowledge and insights today can be both dangerous and regressive. Survival in business is highly dependent on an openness to learning. Learning is principally channeled through employees. It's no secret, organizations driven by a commitment to continuous learning, are better positioned to respond to change in an informed and timely manner. Timely change is an opportunity to reduce cost and optimize revenue sources. Learning and relearning is consequently an indispensable strategy for achieving personal and organizational growth.
